The Spanish expeditions were part of the empire to extend its territorial influence. In these voyages, the Spanish explorers and sailors became wealthy. This was as a result of the increased trade as the people visited many different places. This was partly because of a Spanish explorer by the name Pizzaro who came on the Island of Incas. After killing the chief of the island and all the men, he was offered gold as protection. The Spanish were also offered people to take as cheap labor. Thus, through the exploitation, the nation became wealthy.

becasue in the south they disallowed slavery but in the north slavery was illegial this boilled into because mexico wanted slavery
