At that time, the main problem arise between African muslim and the original religion regarding Animistic belief (the belief that a living sould could exist within an animate object). But, both these religion choose to coexist with one another and barely any conflict exist during the early introduction.

The place where Islam spread its roots from Southwest Asia was Africa. It was the first continent where Islam grew into power after Southwest Asia and during the early part of the 7th century; almost one third of Muslim population was residing in Africa. Most of the countries from Africa where Islam was practiced as a major religion belonged to Western parts of Africa. Countries like Somalia, Ethiopia, and kingdom of Aksum used to practice Islam as their major religion. But, during its initial days when Islam started to spread in Africa, It was not very well received by people of west Africa. explanation: we can only guess at how our actions may be perceived in the future. doing something really big like killing lots of people, saving lots of people, affecting the lives of lots of people is a sure fire way of being remembered in historical records. we can also make a difference in the history records by being a small influence on something bigger, whether that is as a civil servant, scientist or artist.
