Explain how the growth of cities affected agriculture in mesopotamian society.

Well one of the many reasons was They were used to making small civilizations next to rivers so when it rained the rivers would flood the crops making the ground fertile, however when more people came and the built more houses they would get flooded to, so they had to move more in land.
