The correct answer I believe here is A. The expansion of the railroad for the first time created a true national market in the US. With the advent of the railroad the goods could have been transported from one part of the country to the other relatively cheaply and efficiently. This also helped a lot of factories at that time as they could get the materials and the supplies they needed much faster than regularly and much more cheaply as the transport costs were significantly less than they used to be.

then once you find a topic you like find out how it affected the people of america and what not. (sorry if this feels a bit short changed, history was and never will be one of my strong topics)
