The successes and challenges of Medieval Asia were as follows:
Some of the successes were: technological advances were made in Medieval Asia,  the first printing press was built in China, Algebra was invented and the Brihadeeswarar Temple in India was built. This is an amazing architectural achievement. 
Some of the challenges were: the black plague broke out in China and the Middle East, the British launched the Crusades in the Middle East and the Mongols started conquering the countries in Medieval Asia.
