How did the divisions of the 1790s reflect the differences in philosophy that were at the heart of the debate over the constitution?

The major political divisions that occurred during this time were due to differences in whether the central government should be given lots of power, or only a little power. This centered around the Constitution since this document would give the central government lots of power.
