How do you think the task of defeating the Japanese Empire will differ from the task of defeating the Germans ?

Two things to consider here, there’s the justification and the effort. The justification agaisnt the Japanese empire was that it was to liberate the islands that was once the US’s and basically liberate the countries japan has taken over which includes, half of china, Korea, vietnamn, etc. Also mainly becuase the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor. The Germans on the other hand only joined the war since it was allies with japan and since the US declared war on japan, the Germans also declared war on the US also italy but not important right now. The Germans was mainly fighting the Europeans and the Europeans wanted the US’s help, support, and money and the US provided that.
