Is it called sand because its near the sea and the land ?

the word sand is believed to have come from an old English word which itself originated from the ditch word SANT meaning sand this word later became known as something that's finer than gravel but coarser than dirt

i am not 100% positive but i think it is is b. both are non-partisan jobs

i am pretty sure that members of congress have term limits, can be impeached, and are nominated through direct popular vote.
