Why were African American soldiers dying at higher rates than white soldiers? Plz give at least 5 reasons.

African American soldiers died at higher rates because:

1) They were given horrible medical care when compared to white soldiers.

2) As prisoners that had been taken they would be given harsher treatment.

3) They were more likely to catch diseases.

4) African American soldiers did not have as much training as white soldiers causing them to not know exactly what they were doing.

5) They were more likely to be drafted which contributed to higher death rates.

6) Certain soldiers wouldn't help them because of personal beliefs.

7) African American soldiers would be taken as slaves even if they were free beforehand.
