One significant principle of the Magna Carta involves the freedom of the church. In the Constitution, as listed in the 1st Amendment, freedom of religion is guaranteed. Taxes were another point mentioned in both documents. Another similarity between the documents is that both include the right of fair fines.

1-The Magna Carta is the base platform on which the United States Bill of Rights and Constitution was built on , it didnt make the 3 branches of Government it CREATED the ideology which was later made into effect with the US's Democracy .

2-The law was unjustified back in the time of King John of Englands Ruling that you could be beheaded or thrown in jail with no legal evidence at all of a crime . This was later tried in the Magna Carta when the people of England demanded a live audeience at any jury trial.

3- Ordained Bishops, Priests and Deacons abused their power while in Church , would impose heavy tax on church members and the church could create unjustified laws such as " a sin could be forgiven with the exception of 1 acre of land and $100... This was later the reason the people wanted to seperate the church and state. The church was ran as a business.

4- The foundation of the Magna Carta was that everybody including the king was subjected to the law. The document only covers the nobility, connected, the land owners. So blacks, kids, women, and the poor was not covered by the Magna Carta. BUT social contract referrs to everyone so this last one is sort of a double edged sword. because it did and didnt protect everyone.
