They were known as the three "Rs"; Roosevelt believed that together Relief, Reform, and Recovery could bring economic stability to the nation as it did.The New Deal of the 1930s helped revitalize the U.S. economy following the Great Depression. ... Roosevelt, the New Deal was an enormous federally-funded series of infrastructure and improvement projects across America, creating jobs for workers and profits for businesses. They provided support for farmers, the unemployed, youth and the elderly. The New Deal included new constraints and safeguards on the banking industry and efforts to re-inflate the economy after prices had fallen sharply. Reform programs focused specifically on methods for ensuring that depressions like that in the 1930s would never affect the American public again as it has not.
