3. Write a letter from the point of view of a participant in one of these events. You letter should be about 1 page in length (by providing a full summary of the cause & effects of any of these strikes, you should have no problem writing close to a full page. Please use a reasonably-sized font (e. g. 12 pt]).
You can take the role of anyone who was present: a worker on strike, a factory owner, a
police officer, etc. Just be sure to include the following details:
a. Why workers were striking. Be sure to discuss the working conditions of this era &
what events led to the particular strike you participated in (i. e. the "cause" from your chart).
b. The events that took place during the strike. Use the primary sources provided on slide 2 of lesson 4.3 to help provide detail.
c. The effect of this strike. What was the outcome? Was the strike effective or not?
