In this unit, you learned about something that impacts nearly everything you do—your culture. Culture is the beliefs, customs, arts, and traditions of a society or a group of people within a society. Culture makes each society or group of individuals unique. Think about the activities you do every day: eating meals, talking to friends, listening to music, participating in sports, and perhaps practicing a religion. What role does your own culture play in your life? How do you express your culture?
