Their economy was based on trading, lumbering, fishing, whaling, shipping, fur trading and ship building.

For the economy/trade of the Middle Colonies:

The economy also consisted of fishing.

If you want for the blank box for the government of the Middle Colonies you could put:

All of the Middle Colonies had a chief executive called a governor. In all of the colonies, the governors were appointed, not elected.
