Could the Historical Figure Lead Today? In this task, you’ll imagine the leader you wrote about in Task 1 is alive today. Consider this figure’s qualities and characteristics. Then write another three-paragraph essay expressing your opinion about whether this person would still be a great leader today.
Part A
You identified the three main qualities of a good leader in the previous task. You also identified a historical figure that you believe was a great leader for the time. Think about what this person would be like if he or she lived today. First, look at list of some modern characteristics of a leader. Compare the qualities and characteristics of the historical leader you chose to this list. Then identify any characteristics that match your leader and explain why you think they do.
