Ross Perot was a real thorn in the side of the Republicans. He split off a number of votes who would have otherwise gone Republican. He was way ahead of his time where no one thought seriously about balancing the budget. He was also ahead of his time for Campaign reform. Last year, the election costs in the United States amounted to 14 billion. Can you even begin to imagine such a thing?  Who even remembers Ross Perot?

Ralph Nader: Here's another man that was ahead of his time. I fail to see why Americans are glued to the two party system. I cannot think of anything that has contributed more to the downfall of the American political system than the 2 party system. In Canada, where I live, there are 5 parties in our parliament. Five. Look it up. Are we afraid of so many diverse opinions? No! We even have one party (Parti Quebecois) whose main platform is the break Quebec away from the rest of Canada.  Keep your friends close and your enemies closer. America could learn much from Canada.

some women in the middle and upper classes worked as doctors, government officials, or priestesses. both women and men enjoyed a better quality of life the higher they were on the social pyramid. the egyptians believed that their class system created a stable, well-ordered society. each group had its own role to play.
