Create a multimedia presentation to analyze continuities and changes in American culture over three time periods, from 1607 to the present.
You will choose three time periods from a given list. Then, you will analyze continuities and changes in
four of the following areas: gender roles; consumption; leisure activities; popular culture (art, literature,
and media); social values and principles; the role of religion; or the role of science and technology.
Relevant evidence in the form of documents, charts, art, and photographs must be included.

a) Consider the requirements you must meet.
b) Think about the choices you have in your response.

The presentation should not only simply discuss examples of these categories; it should

c) Decide how you want to organize your presentation. You may wish to consider
organizing it by theme rather than by time period.
d) Create your presentation on the computer using presentation or video-editing software.
