Looking at the situation of the Philippines where multiculturality is very evident, and one cannot deny the fact that this has left an indelible mark amongst the locals and even to foreigners alike. As a result, it has boosted the country’s economy and became its brand-new image in the modern world. But this has left and led Filipinos into a greater disparity through what we call ‘regionalism’ – wherein one region deems themselves as superior to the other. Does the impact of the assimilation of popular culture among the Filipinos have brought with its destruction and dissent or will it be the key towards the further development of the country? Why?​
