How would you guys rank all the Sonic games you’ve played? (Not spin-offs main platformers) I’d say mine is
13. Sonic Forces (classic Sonic is bad in it and Sonic and the avatar feel off and less controllable than in generations or even heroes)
12. Sonic Lost World (I’ve heard most levels are bad but I’ve only played the demo and has a run button)
11. Sonic Heroes (haven’t played a lot I played two levels on the Mario kart bonus disc)
10. Sonic the Hedgehog (1991) (no spin dash and super slow and half the zones are pretty mediocre and there should be 2 acts not 3)
9. Sonic CD (I’m pretty far in it and it’s pretty good but the structure of the time traveling is neat but the levels are unoriginal and not interesting so it would’ve worked in the other ones and it’s tedious to try to complete)
8. Sonic Adventure 2 (haven’t played much yet almost done with the first and I didn’t like the tails and egg man levels a lot)
7. Sonic Unleashed (the werehog levels were fine but the boost gameplay is probably the best in the series next to generations and the story is actually good unlike most modern Sonic games
6. Sonic 2 (the later areas are unfair and cheap and you are supposed to beat this in one go)
5. Sonic Adventure (dated animation and voice acting but is still fun)
4. Sonic Unleashed (the werehog levels were fine but the boost gameplay is probably the best in the series next to generations and the story is actually good unlike most modern Sonic games and the level design is fantastic)
3. Sonic 3 and Knuckles
2. Sonic Generations (amazing level design and I wish there were more levels like from the handheld games and one from Sonic cd)
1. Sonic Mania
