A summary of a current event is accomplished by finding an article from the internet and creating 5-7 sentences that answer the "who, what , where , when, how, why" of the story. This is a factual summary of the article. You can find news articles on several websites. National news sites are NBC, CBS, ABC, MSNBC, and CNN just to name a few. Local news sites are `17, 23, and 29.  Remember, you must give me a minimum of 5 sentences to receive credit. Cut and pasting is unacceptable and you will not get credit for taking someone else's work and making it your own.     ​
