What were the relative advantages and disadvantages of europeans, africans, and indians as these three peoples commingled and clashed?

During the 1600's slaving greatly influenced the economy of European colonies in the world because slaves along with a lesser number of indentured servants worked the fields of their European masters. Slaves were sold from the African mainland but other Africans and other times by other Europeans, especially the Portuguese, who acquired slaves from African slave dealers.
