List two main negative aspects of the navigation laws

- The American colonies could only trade with Britain creating a trade monopoly (mercantilism search up the definition if you don't know what it means)
- Colonists went into debt because they could only trade with Britain, Britain bought raw materials from the colonists and made finished products out of them to sell them back to the colonists for a higher price.
