The final victory went to Henry Tudor, a claimant of Lancastrian party, Henry defeats the Yorkist forces and when Richard is killed, Henry comes to rule and successfully ending the Wars of the Roses. This is called the war of roses because the emblem of the Yorkists was a white rose and the emblem of Lancastrians was a red rose.
