What was the mayflower compact?

The paper was sketched during 1620 preceding to the agreement with the Pilgrims in Plymouth Harbor in Massachusetts. It stated that the 41 men that acknowledged it thought it was a good idea to allow preponderance law and cooperate with the government in the finest concern of all branches of the settlement. This arrangement established the pattern for newer records describing commonality jurisdiction.
