In WWII all races were allowed to enter the war. This helped certain people see that race really says nothing about a person.

Well it helped clear the wool off peoples eyes showing that no race is inferior to the other. Also helped give certain people rights they had been fighting for long time. Also world war 2 helped promote equal rights as the Russian satellite states started rebelling against the rule of Russians in their territory. So a lot more Us styled governments popped up in Europe.
