Why did the number of enslaved people grow quickly between 1790 and 1810

Demand was high and slaves (especially african slave trade) were easy and cheap to get since tribes would kidnapp other africans in exchange for guns and 'modern' (for their time) items they wanted. In new lands people needed slaves to do a lot of the work they were unable to do.

The number of enslaved people, also known as slaves, grew quickly between 1790 and 1810 because many Americans and foreign peoples would go to Africa and would kidnap many people from different tribes, and would sell them to the people of the Americas. Slaves were used as a helping hand that didn't get paid, so many people liked them because of that.
