what do you think about racial profiling in law enforcement? is it all good or all bad? can it be useful sometimes? if so, in what instances? why do you think that law enforcement used to (and sometimes still do) use racial profiling?

I think racial profiling is always negative. If you judge someone based on their race or think that someone is more prone to violence because of their race, that can cause some serious misunderstandings or harm to that person. I do think that profiling based on someone's demeanor is helpful, though. As well as profiling based on obvious things like if they appear overly cautious or nervous.
