What happens to the public policy after it has been implement

The process of public policy formation, implementation and regulation and correction is very complex and filled with steps. Public policy formation is defined as the process by which a government, or State, gives answers to public issues that affect a nation´s people. In order for a policy to become law and be implemented, there are some stages that first need to be fulfilled. The first is the identification of a problem that is affecting the public. This requires a lot of data gathering and observation. Then comes the setting of an agenda, by which steps are taken to start finding solutions to a given problematic. Many people play a role in this particular step, and ideas and plans are taken from both the private and public sectors. Then comes the formation of the policy itself, which is the definition of the actual plans with which the problem will be approached and who and how it will be approached. Then, comes the adoption of the policy, by which different agencies are given the responsibility and the necessary authorities evaluate the impact of the policy. Finally comes the evaluation, a critical step by which the authorities evaluate if the policy has had the necessary impact and has solved the issue and if not, they find the way to fix, or change, the policy to affect change.
