Jim crow laws were when black people had to have seperate services to white people. an example of this is water fountains. there main aim was to enforce legalised racial segregation.
NAACP stands for nation association for the advancement of coloured people. this was set up to help the Black people be treated fairly as segregation made life hard for them.
plessy v ferguson was a big law case where they pushed for black people still be segregated but equal... this was because of the rising opposion towards to segregation of black people...
