This march is still considered as the Greatest and longest march by a Military group. This March started in October 1934 and covered the distance of almost 8000 miles across China. It was not just one long march but was a sequence of marches because there were various communist armies ofSouth who fled to theNorth and West of China. The Long March gave the Communist Party of China the isolation it needed. This march allowed the Red Army to rebuild the north. This march also helped the Communist Party of China to build a positive reputation among the people of the country due to the dedication and determination they showed during the long march. Despite the Red Army who were part of this long march were short of food and supplies, they were ordered by their leader Mao that not to disrespect or harm the people of north. This order and policy of Mao were appreciated by locals and as a result of the Long March, China's Communist Party grew stronger and more determined.
