Her industries were damaged, foreign exports came to a standstill as other countries imposed extremely high tariffs on Italian exports, while agricultural productivity suffered greatly. Mussolini attempted to revitalize the industrial sector of Italy with a three-fold approach, namely, The Battle for Land, the Battle for Lira, and the Battle for Grain.
