What has been happening to Americans income over the last 30-40 years, and how do you think what would impact the average Americans ability to save?

American’s income has been changing frequently throughout the past 30-40 years, going up and down often. I think that people can save easier if the government did not keep giving out stimulus check because of the pandemic, they won’t want to keep just spending money.
