Nada más que hay una gran diferencia entre ambas circunstancias con respecto a la pandemia.

En el caso de la peste bubónica, recordemos que en la edad media no había la clase de avances médicos que existen el día de hoy. La penicilina no se había inventado y en general, la medicina de la Edad Media era muy limitada. La gente usaba plantas y hierbas medicinas para sanar. Por esa razón, la gente debió encerrarse.

La pandemia de estos años -2020-2021- se presenta en un momento en el que la medicina está muy avanzada y hoy en día la gran polémica mundial gira en el sentido de que si haberse encerrado fue la mejor decisión que debieron haber y tomado los gobiernos del mundo. Y esto se debe a que a pesar de que hubo muchos contagios y mortandad, las consecuencias económicas son devastadoras, millones de personas han perdido su empleo, miles de negocios tuvieron que cerrar, y otros miles no volverán a abrir.
