I think Taoism is the most interesting because I always thought that we should respect our elders. If I was a ruler I will practice Taoism because I want my kingdom to be nice without any wars.

The ancient Chinese religion I find intresting is Confucianism. If I were a chinese emperor, I would most definitely practice Confucianism. Confucianism is an ancient Chinese belief system, which focuses on the importance of personal ethics and morality. There are many core beliefs in Confucianism, some of many are;

Yi - Righteousness.

Xin - Honesty and Trustworthiness.

Chung - Loyalty to the state, etc.

Li - includes ritual, propriety, etiquette, etc.

Hsiao - love within the family, love of parents for their children, and love of children for their parents.

The main idea of Confucianism is the importance of having a good moral character, which can then affect the world around that person through the idea of “cosmic harmony.” And I find those really important concepts when it comes to having so much power as an emperor.
