What are some parts (both physical and social) of a waste management system?

Some physical parts of a waste management system are machines at the site and compressor. The machines at the sites are physical because they are pieces of physical parts that work together to perform a function. Compressors are a part of the physical because it uses physical parts to compress the waste. Some social parts of a waste management system are the worker that work and the animals at the site of the waste management system (landfill).
