Describe what happened during the sit down strike in Flint ,Michigan

The GM Strike in Flint, MI, 1936 & 1937 led to gathering together of smaller, fringe unions, and total unionization of auto workers in the US. It can be said that it also lead to sending domestic jobs to other countries years later.

In 1936 workers at a automobile planting Flint, completed work and liked the doors and sat down. This was called the most important strike in American history. By sitting down and closing the doors, they kept strike breakers from taking their jobs.
