Why do you think the realities of Jim Crow did not just
"disappear overnight"?

Jim Crow laws and discrimination were created because of peoples ignorance. Unfortunately even though the laws were taken away, people's hatred and ignorance, wasn't. The repercussions of this, people who feel hatred and teaching it to others, is still felt today.
