Why does the LGBTQ+ community get so much hate? This IS part of my assignment so don't take it down

One of the biggest reasons as to why we get so much hate is religion.

Explanation:

Religion plays into a lot of things including love. A lot of religions believe that love should only be between a man and a woman because that's how their god/deity said or made two sexs for.

Some conservatives such as republicans and Christians and other religions believe that it should be male with female and female with male Christians are using their bibles in an attempt to justify pre-existing hate and bigotry rather than actually following it. Their book makes it very clear that homosexuality is frowned upon. most of the Christians who end up hating LGBTQ+ people started doing so long before they ever opened their bibles. It wasn't like they were tolerant people who decided to embrace hate after doing some reading. Non Christians hate the LGBTQ+ because that's how they where simply raised.
