Why is the black lives matter movement important?

 Black Lives Matter (BLM) is an international activist movement. They are working to rebuild the Black liberation movement. It's important because there's been alot of poor treatment, killings etc. of African-Americans by police.
That's why Black Lives Matter just like ALL LIVES MATTER. People that are part of this movement and protesting against police, aren't doing it to favor black people over any race of people, they are doing this because of the injustice and poor treatment that there's been on African-Americans (Mostly black males) by police.
