Three aspects of the Era of Good Feelings.

The Era of Good Feelings refers to the political period of the United States between the presidency of Thomas Jefferson and that of Andrew Jackson, that is, between 1809 and 1829.

During this period, America experienced great economic growth, mainly motivated by the expansion of the country towards the west, which motivated investments as well as the exploitation of new natural resources. The expansion was also the reason to continue with more virulence the wars against the native tribes, as the territory expanded over the territories of these tribes. In addition, during this period the American identity began to take shape, given that after the War of 1812 the country embarked on a period of isolationism and internal development, which made American citizens begin to value their own with greater emphasis over what came from Europe.
