One of the biggest negative effects of the civil rights movement is the failure to promote equal income among the black population.

The civil rights movement was a major milestone in the country's history and although it has managed to prevent segregation in public and commercial facilities from happening across the national territory, it has not been able to prevent us from building an income barrier for the black population. Until today, companies controlled by blacks have greater difficulties in obtaining credit and financing. people could go to church and listen to the teachings, but it was absolutely forbidden to own and/or read the books of both the old and new testaments. it was also prohibited to translate the books (which where originally in biblical hebrew) to any other language.

this was done so the church could remain in control of what their teachings were and to enhance their importance and power, while also being able to judge people's actions through information that was unavailable for the general public.
