Thomas Hobbes definition of a social contract is that citizens agree to give up some freedoms in exchange for protection from the government. For example, drivers agree to follow the speed limits in return for the government creating good highways and having them patrolled by state troopers or policeman. People that speed can receive a ticket with a fine as a consequence. Question: How do the citizens "sign" this contract or perform their "civic duty" to show support for a government?

Hint: What should all citizens do on Nov. 3, 2020?
