The Wounded Knee Massacre in the end of 1890 is considered the last battle in the “Indian Wars” and marked the end of the Native American People on The Great Plains of the US. It, conversely, secured America’s Manifest Destiny; the belief that our way of life was ordained to stretch “From Sea to Shining Sea”. The plight of the American Indian was then one of despair, poverty, and hopelessness, while The US between 1890 and 1920 became the greatest industrial, economic and military power in the world, with more citizens, of more races, religions and nationalities enjoying more freedom and wealth than any other civilization in the history of the world! Considering this amazing success story for the US,
