Im learning about the amendments made to the constitution, i need to come up with a new one and write about it. im having trouble coming up with one. anyone have any ideas? *create an amendment idea. Give your idea a title. Explain what it will do and whom it will benefit the most. Don't do equality bc my teacher said its used to much?

8 - 2a - 7 = a + 40

1 - 2a = a + 40       add 2a on both sides

1 = 3a + 40         subtract 40 on both sides

-39 = 3a       divide 3 on both sides

-13 = a
