Why Jackson was furious and spent the next four years

In the election of 1824, Jackson ran against John Quincy Adams. Jackson won the popular and electoral vote, against three other people! Since it was still close, Congress decided the candidate to win the presidency. Adams won the presidency by having a close friend in Congress, Henry Clay. Clay helped persuade Congress to vote Adams to become president, which was completely unfair for Jackson.
