Terms of Embargo Act of 1807. HELP ME ASAP

The Embargo Act of 1807 prevented US from exporting any goods. The goal was to make France and the UK take the US more seriously. The Embargo quickly failed as it bankrupted many American merchants and farmers while not heavily affecting the European powers. Hurting many families.
