Why would a political party develop a platform? O to inform voters of its positions on important issues O to get its candidate on the ballot in every state O to create a place for its leaders to exchange ideas O to make sure its members make it to their polling places

Recently this happened with the app known as Parler or Parlor something like that. This platform was developed  to inform voters of its positions on important issue and therefore possibly gain more support for the candidate.
