What flaws were revealed in the Articles of Confederation?

The first flaw was its economic disorganization:
Congress could not regulate trade.
There was no uniform system of currency.
No power of taxation

The lack of central leadership:
No independent judiciary
No foreign affairs head
Inability to deal with internal and external threats

Legislative inefficiencies:
Each state had one vote
Difficulty passing laws
Impractical amendment process
