What part of the Going Global article surprised you the most?

The part of the article that mostly surprised me the most is when they speak about how some foods came from different places.  The text states"Today, American plants, like corn, coca, tomatoes, and tobacco are  grown all over the world." Therefore many foods are grown and cropped all over the world.
