Which of the ten Amendments that make up the Bill of Rights do you think is the most interesting, and why?  Given that there are only ten of  them, why did the Founding Fathers put in that particular Amendment...in other words, give me a bit of background about why they would consider it important. Only write about one Amendment or you will lose points.
Be thoughtful here, do not just parrot back information you haven't thought through.  For example, saying that without the second Amendment the government would become a dictatorship ignores the fact that many democracies in the world - most of Europe, Canada, Australia to name a few - are much more restrictive about gun ownership and are still democracies.  If you want to use this argument, tell me why other countries do not need this amendment to succeed.
Similarly, don't just say that an amendment is interesting because you hadn't heard of it - again, a bit about it and why it's in the Bill of Rights.
Your answer needs to be a minimum of 350 words in length

I pick Amendment VII.

Amendment VII

In Suits at common law, where the value in controversy shall exceed twenty dollars, the right of trial by jury shall be preserved, and no fact tried by a jury, shall be otherwise re-examined in any Court of the United States, than according to the rules of the common law.
